Magpielly Solid Sock Club UK

Want to knit socks but prefer them to be solid coloured? Us too. That's why we're bringing the Magpielly Solid Coloured Sock Club to your door!

The Yarn
Brown Sheep Wildfoote Luxury Sock yarn is a 4 plied sock yarn that is spun in 75% washable wool and 25% nylon. It is soft but hard-wearing, and knits to 7/8 stitches per inch (28-32 stitches to 10cm).
 
The Club
The club will run for four months (June-September), and each month you will get x2 50g skeins of sock yarn, and a sock pattern. The designers are Rachel Coopey (Coop Knits), Elly Doyle (Magpielly!), Ruth Garcia-Alcantud (Rock & Purl) and Sam Parfitt (Dark Nights Yarn Dreams).
 
The Designs
The designs will cover a mix of techniques including twisted stitches, lace, cables and textured stitches, as well as different styles of toes and heels. Two will be knit from the top-down, two from the toe up. All patterns will be sized to fit feet with a cirumference of 7 (8, 9)"/18 (20.5, 23)cm.
If you would like to knit longer socks than specified, and would prefer x3 balls per installment (for an additiona £25) please contact me.
 
The Colours
You can see the available colours below. I’m happy to take specific colour requests, or you can be completely surprised, or partially surpised, e.g. ask for ‘manly colours’ or ‘no brights’ or… of course, bear in mind that phrases like that are open to my interpretation, which may be different to yours!
